LoungeThe spacious living area has plenty of comfort and a stunning sea view all the way to Skye.

There are TV/Video, DVD player and a radio/CD and also a range of family games, jigsaws and books for rainy days.

While dining, you can still see the wonderful sea view or the birds which flock around the feeders in the garden.




KitchenKitchen

The kitchen is well equipped for a self-catering property.

There are two cooking hobs (electric and gas) an electric double oven, a large fridge/freezer,

dishwasher and microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer.




Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 has a double bed, direct access to the family bathroom (which can be closed off to create an exclusive en-suite). This room overlooks the garden and Gairloch beach can be seen through the trees.

Bedrooms 2 (double) and 3 (2 singles) both have an ensuite shower room. These rooms overlook Gairloch and the Isle of Skye.

Duvets and pillows are provided for all the beds. Please note that we do not provide bed linen or towels unless visitors are coming from overseas.

The oil fired heating system will be on for a few hours each day, morning and evening according to the time of year. All fuel costs are included in the booking price.

Garden

There are extensive gardens with places to sit and admire the views.Garden Steps at Whindley

The usual access to the house would be up the short asphalt drive from the road. In spite of being a sloping site, it is possible to access the front terrace from the house on level ground.

Much of the garden is planted with mature trees, many of them Scots pines.

There are up to 25 species of birds visiting or flying over the garden. Dolphin and porpoise can be seen from the house with binoculars. A pine marten is a regular visitor and you may catch site of one at dusk if you are lucky.

Please note that the garden is very steep in places and visitors need to take care if exploring.
